Memer Loyalty is a staking and loyalty points protocol for memecoins on Robinhood Chain. Holders lock tokens into a pool and accrue non-transferable points that decay over time. This page documents exactly how those points are calculated.

Points calculation

Points mint once per day against the value staked, scaled by two multipliers.

pointsPerDay = stakedValueUSD × effectiveMultiplier × 0.012 × durationFactor
stakedValueUSD
The position size in tokens, valued at the pool's current token price. Points track value, not token count, so two pools of equal depth mint at the same base rate regardless of token supply.
effectiveMultiplier
The pool's base points multiplier plus the bonus attached to the lock term you chose. Deeper, riskier pools carry a higher base; longer locks add to it.
base rate
A protocol-wide constant of 0.012 points per USD per day, applied identically across every pool.
durationFactor
A holding-duration bonus that climbs from 1.0 to 1.5 over 365 days held. It rewards the position staying open, not the wallet re-opening it.

Opening credit

Opening a position credits the first day of accrual immediately, plus a lock bonus worth of the term's accrual. A flexible position receives one day; a 180-day lock receives NaN days' worth up front.

Lock terms

The bonus each term adds on top of a pool's base multiplier.

Decay

Points fall every day. Staking slows the fall and outruns it; inactivity does not.

The formula

balance(d+1) = balance(d) × (1 − decayRate) + pointsPerDay
Decay while a position is open
0.35% / day
Baseline idle decay
1.40% / day

Each pool publishes its own idle rate, and a wallet's effective rate is the stake-weighted average of the pools it holds — the figure above is the protocol baseline. While at least one position stays open, decay runs at 25% of that rate.

Decay compounds on the running balance rather than subtracting a fixed amount, so a large balance sheds more points per day than a small one. Unstaking never burns points already earned — it stops accrual and moves the balance onto the idle rate.

Worked example

A wallet holds 100,000 points and closes every position. Nothing accrues, and the balance decays at 1.40% a day:

Decay of a 100,000 point balance over 90 days.
DayIdle balanceRetained
3065,51065.5%
6042,91642.9%
9028,11428.1%

The same wallet, keeping a position open that mints 1,400 points a day, decays at only 0.35% — and reaches 181,184 points by day 90 instead of 28,114.

Tier thresholds

Tiers are evaluated against the live balance, so a decaying balance can fall a tier.

Points are non-transferable and cannot be bought, sold, or moved between wallets. They exist only as a record of how long a wallet has kept capital in a pool. Read the benefits each tier unlocks.
